Terms & Conditions

All puppies and dogs are microchipped, vaccinated (C3), wormed, and Vet checked before leaving to go to their NEW home.. They are ready for their new homes at  8 weeks old. Each pup is Vet checked and socialised with adults and children too integrate into your loving home. Toilet training started on grass.

 

FULL payment must be paid no later than 7 weeks of age of your NEW puppy.

 

  • I reserve the right to withdraw a puppy from sale at any stage or change the price of a puppy offered for sale at any time before a deposit has been paid. 

 

Security & Health of our animals

Precautions are taken in relation to protecting the security and well being of our animals, and your new puppy.

Hidden Valley Cavoodles reserves the right to:

  • Hold viewings from 8 weeks only

  • Request a $1,000 deposit to reserve a specific puppy. This is non refundable based on change of mind. However, if something such as an illness or injury occurs with the puppy before pick up of your puppy, Hidden Valley Cavoodles will refund your deposit 

  • Disclose pick up address until 2 days before pickup. This reduces the risk of trespassing and theft of animals.

  • Provide a 50% refund based on change of mind. The relevant time frame to return a puppy based on change of mind is 3 days.

Viewing of Intellectual Property

i.e. Genetic testing; animal records

Precautions are taken in relation to protecting the security of our business, and that of the breeding industry against improper use of intellectual property.  

  • This includes genetic test results and animal records.

  • Hidden Valley Cavoodles reserves the right to:

  • Provide a copy of genetic test results and / or animal records on the day of pick up for sighting only.

  • Refuse the sharing of genetic results and animals records electronically. This is to prevent fraudulent use of intellectual property belonging to Hidden Valley Cavoodles.

For Interstate Travel

In the event of interstate travel requirements are as follows:

Hidden Valley Cavoodles releases 100% responsibility of the welfare of animal to Purchaser. A fit to fly/travel certificate, signed by a qualified BVSc certifies that upon leaving us, the condition of the puppy is in good health. It is therefore at the risk of the Purchaser that the puppy mixes with other animals without having had all appropriate vaccinations. This includes injury in transit.

 

The 3 day 50% refund is obsolete in the case of courier and flight services. If Purchaser changes their mind they may return the puppy at their own expense,  with the provision of a new fit to fly certificate by a registered BVSc.  A refund of 50% will be provided upon the puppy returning to Hidden Valley Cavoodles along with the puppy pack and after a 10 day quarantine holding to ensure puppy is free of illness from courier and airline services.

All payment, including courier costs (if arranged and booked by Hidden Valley Cavoodles) is to be cleared before the puppy leaves Hidden Valley Cavoodles premises.

The Purchaser will receive relevant paperwork for their puppy in the mail on receipt of payment. 

By placing a reservation deposit, purchaser is agreeing to these terms and conditions


TERMS & CONDITIONS 

We require every enquiry to be aware of Hidden Valley Cavoodles Terms and Conditions before they commit to being a potential new owner of one of our Cavoodles. The following policies are in place and must be acknowledged and accepted before you are able to adopt a Cavoodle from us.

 

 

Section 1

1.0

We are in accordance with New South Wales Government Industry & Investment Animal Welfare Code of Practice of Breeding Dogs and Cats, section 9.1.2.11, pg 26.

As quoted in the Code of Practice:

'Dogs or cats should not be sold to inappropriate purchasers.' 

1.1

  • We reserve the right to refuse the sale of any puppy to any person for whatever reason, if the party that has been refused has already made payment, a refund will be made immediately, less Credit Card Surcharge fee of 2.25% (if applicable)

1.2

  • Once payment has been placed upon a puppy, your deposit is  non-refundable for purchases, there is no exceptions of circumstance, nor is the time period from the placement of payment to notification of cancellation of sale relevant. This clause is made redundant if statement 1.1 occurs.

  • Our fee is required in the event that the purchasing party discontinue the adoption of a puppy(s) the fee is then used to cover the expenses that occur from the rejection of sale .

1.3

  • We do not in any form hold puppies until a written statement (email) is sent to us confirming that they wish to purchase a specific puppy - the holding period between the acceptance to purchase a puppy and receiving payment is 24 hours; after this time if payment has not been received, your puppy will no longer be on hold and be available to others to purchase.

1.4

  • Once payment has been placed upon a puppy it is non-transferable - this is in the instance that you are no longer wanting the puppy you have chosen (before receiving the puppy) and are wishing to change to a different puppy that is available. This is permitted, however, your  deposit  will be lost and not be retractable from the alternative puppy's purchase price. Please note: completing this action may cause a revision by us of your acceptability of adopting a puppy and may result in a rejection. In the instance of a rejection clause 1.1. is in place.

1.5

  • When the collection details for your puppy are sent to the purchaser, the purchaser is required to confirm that their puppy will be collected to take to the new owner's dwelling. If the purchaser does not confirm that their puppy will be collected within 3 days of receiving notification and makes no attempt to make contact in regards to the collection - this action is representative that the purchaser no longer wishes to purchase the puppy and all rights and deposit will be forfeited 

1.6

We are in accordance with New South Wales Government Industry & Investment Animal Welfare Code of Practice of Breeding Dogs and Cats in section 9.1.1.3, pg 24: 

As quote in the Code of Practice:

'No dog or puppy, cat or kitten may be sold unless vaccinated in compliance with the requirements of Section 8.2 of this Code.'

  • Every Cavoodle that leaves our home is vaccinated (C3) and vet checked.

1.7

We are in accordance with New South Wales Government Industry & Investment Animal Welfare Code of Practice of Breeding Dogs and Cats, section 9.1.4 pg 24.

As quoted in the Code of Practice:

'All dogs and cats re-homed must be microchipped prior to release.'

  • Every Cavoodle that leaves our home is micro chipped, and has been wormed at 2,4,6 and 8 wks of age​

1.8

We are in accordance with New South Wales Government Industry & Investment Animal Welfare Code of Practice of Breeding Dogs and Cats in section 9.1.1.2 pg 24.

As quoted in the Code of Practice:

"Dogs and cats must not be re-homed to people less than 18 years of age."

  • When applying to become the primary owner of a Puppy, you are also confirming that you are 18 years or older, if not, you are not eligible to become a new owner and need not enquire.

 

We are in accordance with New South Wales Government Industry & Investment Animal Welfare Code of Practice of Breeding Dogs and Cats in section 9.1.1.2 pg 24.

As quoted in the code of practice:

'Puppies and kittens must not be re-homed before they are 8 weeks of age.'

  • Every puppy that is delivered to their new home is over 8 weeks of age, this is displayed on each web-page advertising the puppy (or puppies), it is your responsibility to be aware of this information.

 

Section 2 

2.1

  • For all puppies that are not collected by the dates shown on the contract will result in a termination fee of 10% purchase price and your puppy will be available for others to purchase.  ​

  • It is your responsibility to be aware of this by reading our email or our Terms & Conditions - both of which is assumed understood by Hidden Valley Cavoodles when payment has been paid.

 

2.2

  • If you require your puppy to be flown to your destination, we can organise flight /road travel to your closest major airport. The animal transport company has a service that they offer in which they can have your puppy delivered to your door; if this is something you are interested in, let us know and we can organise this   (this service will incur a fee that we will confirm with you at the time of inquiry) 

2.3

  • All puppies that are being flown will travel in a purchased crate.

2.4

  • We are in accordance with New South Wales Government Industry & Investment Animal Welfare Code of Practice of Breeding Dogs and Cats in section 9.1.1.6 pg 24.

As quoted in the code of practice: 

'At the time of purchase, clients must be offered accurate written information at no charge which concerns the care of animals purchased.' 

When you collect your puppy you will be issued with comprehensive information on how to care for your puppy.

Section 3

3.1

  • We are in accordance with New South Wales Government Industry & Investment Animal Welfare Code of Practice of Breeding Dogs and Cats in section 9.1.1  pg 24.

As quoted in the Code of Practice:

'If within 3 days a dog is not acceptable to the purchaser for any reason, the breeder is required to take the dog back and refund 50% of the purchase price of the animal less any travel expenses and non refundable deposit.'

  • Travel costs and administration fees not included.It is the buyers responsibility to return the dog to the breeder at their expense.

3.2

  • We are in accordance with New South Wales Government Industry & Investment Animal Welfare Code of Practice of Breeding Dogs and Cats in section 9.1.1.5 pg 24.

As quoted in the Code of Practice:

'No dog or cat suspected of being sick, injured or diseased may be sold under any circumstances.'

  • No puppy that we will sell is suspected of being sick, injured or diseased. Our veterinarian performs a health check on every Cavoodle so to the best of our knowledge with veterinarian approval, your new puppy is not suspected of being sick, injured or diseased in any form.

 

  • Your puppy is guaranteed for a period of 18 months from the date of birth to be free of life threatening hereditary diseases. If a life threatening hereditary disease is detected within 18 months of being born the buyer is required to provide reports from two un-associated licensed veterinarians for the replacement or refund of the puppy to be considered. One to be chosen by the breeder and the other to be chosen by the buyer.

 

Note: All veterinary costs are at the buyer’s responsibility and may or may not be reimbursed by the breeder at the breeder’s discretion.

 

  • We do not warrant joints as this can be caused by environmental factors

  • We cannot guarantee colour, coat or weight. An estimation to the best of our ability is given.

  • Any advice given by Hidden Valley Cavoodles is based on experience and knowledge only. We will not be held liable for any advice given at any time.

 

  • In no form will we pay any veterinary costs that are not pre-approved in writing by us that are incurred for the animal at any stage.


Section 4

4.1

  • Every puppy is the property of Hidden Valley Cavoodles until they have left our premises.

4.2

  • We reserve the right to alter/edit any of our policies at any time for whatever reason.

 

The Terms & Conditions set out by Hidden Valley Cavoodles are in place so that our Puppy Adoptive Parents (purchasers) are fairly protected by a trusting Breeder of Cavoodles.
